Proceeds from the book sale support Servants Anonymous Society of Calgary and the Calgary Herald’s Educational Program. Servants Anonymous Society of Calgary’s mission is to provide long-term programs, ongoing support, hope and wholeness to young women (with or without children) who are victims of, or are at risk of, sexual exploitation. All Calgary Fire halls are accepting books except stations 13 and 25. Collection starts Tuesday May 1 and closes end of day Sunday May 27. Please note we do not accept encyclopaedias, textbooks, and reader’s digest condensed books.
The event takes place June 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24 form 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
