Multiple Grammy Award winning Gospel phenomenon Fred Hammond will participate in the celebration of the 20th annual Black Gospel Concert in recognition of the Black History month.
Fred Hammond can be called the “Godfather of Contemporary Gospel” brings a blend of R&B, jazz, and hip-hop style of conveying the Message that appeals to a broad spectrum of listeners. His style of praise and worship has been noted to have caused upswing in gospel music’s popularity over the past decade.
He has maintained a reputation for excellence, racking up numerous awards and nominations for great hits such as Bread of Heaven; Spirit of the Lord; Awesome God; Please Dont Pass Me By; Everything to Me and Be Magnified, will be in concert Saturday , February 25, 2012 at the Jubilee Auditorium located at 1415-14 Avenue NW.
