CREEKFEST – CELEBRATE WATER!

Bow Valley Ranch, Fish Creek Provincial Park (south end of Bow Bottom Tr. SE)
This exciting one-day celebration of water will provide families an opportunity for outdoor fun in a unique natural setting. Kids will enjoy a lively performance by 2011 Juno-Award winner, Peter Puffin’s Whale Tales, and Alberta Parks’ Flow Factor. There will also be interactive games, an obstacle course, face-painting and a bouncy castle to delight the little ones.
We are pleased to welcome the Honourable Dave Rodney, MLA for Calgary-Lougheed and Associate Minister of Wellness, to this special one-day event. Lifelong naturalist Gus Yaki will lead a guided water education walk, and the Alberta Lake Management Society will complete water sampling demos. Watch visual artists at work, listen to the relaxing melodies of local musicians, and meet with representatives from community organizations working to protect our local waterways.
