CJSW

Drive Events

Every  year, CJSW lines up fun-filled events and activities so that you can support your favorite radio station alongside a large and unruly group of people just like you. This year we are hosting all sorts of good times PRE-Drive, as well as a couple of things during the Drive itself. Of course, we will have big kick-off and wind-up events that are not to me missed!

Take a look at what we’ve got planned:

2014 Funding Drive Kick-Off! Sex and Broadcasting: a documentary about WFMU.
Thursday October 23rd 7:30pm

The film takes us into the heart of New Jersey’s freeform radio station, WFMU 91.1, as they experience the ups and downs of running what Rolling Stone Magazine, The Village Voice, CMJ and the New York Press have all at one time or another called “the best radio station in the country.” Director Tim K Smith will be in attendance for a Q&A following the screening!

This is a free screening for anyone with last year’s CJSW Friends Card! Start the Drive off right with this great film about the importance of community radio.
