Every Funding Drive, CJSW lines up a week of fun-filled activities so that you can support your favourite radio station alongside a large and unruly group of people just like you. Here’s this year’s lineup!
As you’ve come to expect, CJSW will once again fill the week of Funding Drive with tons of great events and shows. Take a look at what we’ve got planned:
Friday, October 21
- Kick-Off Party at the Palomino with Black Phoenix Orchestra, the Moas, Rockets & Dinosaurs $10 –
Saturday, October 22
- Ship Jam with Extra Happy Ghost!!!, Lucid 44, the Gooeys, and friends. No Cover 2-6pm
- Call of the Dial CJSW Jungle House Party with Mikey de Roza, 8 Bit Ninja, and Chris B. $10
- REZ-XXIV presented by the Sublink with Bemanic, Double D, Danny Diamond, Erwin the Intern, Lodestar and Supernumerary, and Bass Charger. $25, tickets at Dick and Jane.
- BassBus & East Village present: Beats in the East with Stirling Agency. With Wax Romeo, Audit, Mama Miche, Slim Pickins, Small Town DJs. Free! 2-6pm at the East Village Riverwalk.

- CJSW at Market Collective!.
Monday, October 24
- Radio Art! Auction at Cantos Music Foundation. – Featuring music by Circa 1971, refurbished radios by local artists, and the launch of Cantos’ vintage radio collection.
Wednesday, October 26
- 90.9 Hour Film Challenge at the Globe
Thursday, October 27
- The Magnetic North “Constellations” CD release party at Broken City with Clinton St. John and the Sacred Chester Marching Band, and Geist. $10
- CJSW presents Live Jive 2011 with KOTD Exhibition Battle, Cash Flow and J Thadeus, Deezuz, Sargaent & Comrade, ContraVerse, and DJ Swann. Dicken’s Pub, $8
- All-Ages Funding Drive party with Miesha and the Spanks and guests at Tubby Dog. $4
Saturday, October 29th
- BeatRoute Magazine Presents: Wham-Bam Gorilla Glam Funding Drive Wrap Up party at Broken CityFeaturing the Ex-Boyfriends as Gary Glitter, Pine Tarts as T-Rex, Beaver Squadron as Roxy Music, and Chris Nevile as Freddie Mercury. $10
