Robot (Kat) Report

Despite the Calgary Stampede kicking off last Friday I spent most of my weekend avoiding the festivities. I got to see the North American Tournament (equestrian stuff) at Spruce Meadows with my family. My horse El Caranda Z came in a disappointing second place. Ouch. None the less, it was a good pick since I know nothing about equestrian, including who Ian Millar is. Lame.

This Friday is CJSW's big Stampede gallabash downtown so we've naturally been quite busy planning for that. It's called New West Fest so basically you get to see a ton of awesome bands, dance in the streets while CJSW DJs spin sweet dance music and all that jazz. This also marks my one year anniversary of witnessing Alley Burgers. It truly is a site to see and a pickle to taste. Yum yum.
