Robot (Kat) Report

Tucked among a very busy weekend (from Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra to Papa Groove to Yaocave to Nekromantix) I had my very very first experience with Velveeta cheese. I made a queso dip for a little party we had at the station and that stuff is weeeiiird. People eat that? I ate that so I guess so. It blows my mind though.

Speaking of food I noticed this morning that I have successfully grown my very first vegetable. This probably doesn't mean I have a green thumb, but I'm pretty darn happy that I've been diligent enough to water the thing daily and keep it in a sunny corner of my porch. Perhaps one day it will grow up to be juicy and, if all goes well, red.

One final announcement: CJSW's summer concert series is this weekend with Erin Ross, The Bitterweed Draw, the Dyeing Merchants and Gretchen. If you're in Calgary stop by. It starts early and the weather will be fantastic. Get out your San Pellegrinos, Oranginas and parasols. Get ready for fun.
