Robot (Kat) Report

This picture pretty much encapsulates what's happening this week perfectly!

  1. International Women's Day is Thursday. Shout out to all of the awesome ladies that I know including my office pals Nikki and Genevieve and all the fabulous women on CJSW! Dana, Caitlin, Kerry, Hanna and Paula all have shows on IWD itself and they are all outstanding women who never cease to amaze me. In the picture is Mrs. Eloise J. Ellis who was a senior supervisor at the assembly and repairs department in the service.
  2. I'll be in Texas (the picture was taken in Corpus Christi, TX) for SXSW. Who else is going? Seriously, if you're going down to Austin let me know. We'll meet up and laugh and party.
  3. The plane. I'll be flying in one, but it won't be as cool as this one. Did you know my Grandpa was a navigator in the RCAF? You betcha! He got to fly in Lancasters and stuff. The picture is of a PBY Catalina though (again, I won't be flying in one of those).

So basically, I have an awesome couple of weeks ahead of me. Behind me is a weekend of jamming out tunes and shopping malls. Not at the same time.
