Robot (Kat) Report

My weekend was such a blur. After being really sick I jumped out of bed and raced to the city's Toast N Jam action then off to a reunion for a kids camp I worked at in my younger years. I love summer camp so much! Anyone want to run away with me and be a kid again this summer? I'm so game.

This week is SLED freaking ISLAND!!! I am super duper pumped. Films start tonight and bands start on Wednesday. I am so looking forward to Duchess Says (playing our showcase on Saturday night at Distillery - first 100 people get vinyl), Willis Earl Beal, Hooded Fang, Doldrums, Cannon Bros, Thurston Moore (oh my goodness, I'm starting to hyper-ventilate. Must stop). I also curated the stage at Market Collective this weekend. I got lots of rad Vancouver bands and even Sweden's Monokino on the bill. It's going to be AWESOME.
