Aboriginal Activism in Art and Media

« Back to CJSW Presents...

We feature discussions by Stefan Lewis and Kai Sinclair  about activism concerning aboriginal issues in art and media. Stefan interviews  Tom Jackson, Canadian actor, singer, and activist, as well as Roland Rollinmud, a Morley based Stoney Nakoda artist whose work has been featured in many different museums. But first, Kai speaks with Wab Kinew,  a prominent aboriginal activist who is known for his contributions to 8th Fire, a documentary series that explores aboriginal issues – which aired earlier this year on the CBC.
