Presented by Calgary Queer Arts Society the Fairy Tales Queer Art & Film Festival envisions a world where Queer art is celebrated as part of our shared humanity. This year’s festival will showcase a wide range of films from documentaries to short film packages with the addition of 17 visual artists and almost as many community partners who will bring a deeper understanding to some of the films being screened, as well as additional layers of creativity in the form of dance, poetry and drag performances.

With 21 screenings across 4 days in the Contemporary’s Calgary’s very own Heather Edwards Theatre, and The Dome there’ll be something for anyone!

All film screenings are ticketed events, but no-one will be turn anyone away at the door. Rush seating will be available in the 10 minutes prior to the start of the film, and in place of a ticket, a QR code will be available to make a donation in any amount to Calgary Queer Arts.
