His first 12” release was with Hand’Solo Records in 1997. \nJoining Moka is Prairie rap veteran Epic\, whose honest lyricism\, engaging live performances\, and decades-long dedication to independent hip-hop have made him a respected voice in Canadian underground rap. His first album with Hand’Solo Records was in 2008. \nRepresenting Northern Ontario is Copper Cliff rapper Mickey O’Brien\, whose upcoming album Requiem for the Working Class continues his tradition of honest storytelling rooted in working-class life\, recovery\, and resilience. A third-generation miner and international touring artist\, O’Brien has performed across Canada\, Europe\, Japan\, Australia\, and the United States while balancing life underground at Vale with a growing catalogue of acclaimed independent releases.
