About the different types of streams

The MP3 stream is the most commonly used stream type. To listen to this stream you should not have to download any extra software as the stream will play on most audio players (ie: iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp, etc.).

The Ogg Vorbis format is an open source alternative to other compression formats such as MP3. If you wish to listen to the ogg stream, please visit this site to download the software you will need. It’s free too!

Shoutcast is a streaming technology developed by Nullsoft, creators of Winamp. The shoutcast streams are specifically designed to work with the Winamp media player which your can download for free here. The shoutcast stream IDs are occasionally reset. If you find that the links above are not working, please search for the updated streams. For more information on Shoutcast, please visit their website.

Please note: In order to maintain stability, the stream restarts itself daily at 4:00am, meaning that at this time all users will be disconnected for a few minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience.

on-line requests

Have something you want to tell the DJ in the booth right now? Maybe a song request or a virtual high-five? Just email requests [at] cjsw [dot] com. Of course, some of our DJs might be too busy creating kick-ass radio to reply to your email right away (or, um, ever), but when has that stopped you?
