Artslink – Episode May 6, 2019

Black Radish Theatre is a new theatre company in Calgary. Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett is their first production. Two of the founders and actors in the play, Christopher Hunt and Duval Lang, are in the studio to talk about it. Meanwhile, Nathan has been listening to The National Lampoon Radio Hour, and has been itching to show you how they play around with audio as a medium. He does a quick overview of the program, then spotlights his favorite segments from episode #3 (aired December 1st, 1973). He heartily recommends supplemental sources of National Lampoon exploration such as: 'mr. mike: the life and work of michael o'donoghue' by Dennis Perrin & 'DRUNK STONED BRILLIANT DEAD' by Rick Meyerowitz
