The 28th annual Fairy Tales Queer Art & Film Festival (FTFF), presented by the Calgary Queer Arts Society, returns to Contemporary Calgary from May 13–17, 2026, bringing together 42 films from 20 countries in a vibrant celebration of 2SLGBTQIA+ storytelling from around the world.
One of Canada’s longest-running queer film festivals, Fairy Tales will showcase eight feature films and 34 short films spanning genres from documentary and narrative cinema to experimental shorts and musical film.
