Over the last 40 years, CJSW has grown to become Calgary’s preeminent independent media source, sharing music, spoken word, and multicultural programs in more than 10 languages spanning more than 110 programs. The support of our community and listeners allow us to maintain and strengthen our pivotal role as truly independent media in Calgary and beyond.
CJSW donors come from all walks of life. Our donors believe in our station, quality independent music, the opportunities we provide to our volunteers, our quirky, eclectic 24/7 programming, our spoken-word content and news, and the support we offer to the arts and culture industry in Calgary and the surrounding area. Our donors have many reasons to donate, but all are united under the vision of local, independent media that both reflects the community’s perspectives and also provides under-heard voices a platform.
