Motte and Bailey – Episode January 10, 2024

On the Motte: Starting with some glitchy rap leads into a whirlwind of improv, drone and harsh noise, eventually getting lighter with some fantastic furry-themed (it will make sense if you listen to to the full record) IDM/Techno followed immediately by some beautiful shoegazey dream pop from South Korea.

On the Bailey: Starting off with a slightly deeper cut from a legendary prog rock band, moves into some mind-bending post-hardcore from here to Mountain Top, Pennsylvania (If anything, listen to the Chemical Mother album). From there, there's some excellent metalcore, digital hardcore, grindcore and UNRELENTING ANIME BRUTALITY (also features Nithing, shout out to The Prisoner's Dilemma).
