What happens when the extreme becomes the new normal? How do we begin to reconcile what the world once was with what it could be?

Baseline by Anna Gaby-Trotz navigates the severe shifts in our environment accelerated by climate change, focusing on the North West Passage. By exploring the unique intersections between climate and colonialism, this exhibition encourages us to challenge a drastically altered reality.

Baseline will be presented in the Alberta Printmakers Main Gallery from July 3 to August 22, 2026.
