Been reading Beowulf again, different translations, different versions, some all poetic text, others prose, still others illustrated. And that got me thinking about caves. If I were Grendel or his mother, I think I would stay in the cave, among the rusty swords and dinosaur bones. Consider the following how I think that would sound, a pleasant life lurking cave style:
