Syf Sloane? More like SIP* Sloane. Because she sipped from hot milk with vanilla (called a "steamer" in barista parlance) throughout this whole show. Perhaps that can be tasted in the music she's selected. Syf calls this show "very thinky" and her mother calls it "meditative" - both feel quite apt. Syf's thinking has been moving along spiral-y trails and whorl tracks recently. Snail shells and the upturned hull of a ship, wooden ribs trying to remember when they were trees nuzzling the sky's chin. What shapes are you thinking along? *Wynter Laboucane came up with this joke, all credit due to her.
