Behind The Boards – Episode May 31, 2024

Episode 4 of Behind the Boards is a Deep Dive into the critically acclaimed, genre bending producer; Danger Mouse. Since 1999, but more notably 2004 (when the Grey Album blew up) Brian Burton has been mashing vintage vibes with modern techniques and applying his signature sound (including lush orchestral arrangements & upbeat basslines) to both massive hits and unsung classics. Danger Mouse is incredibly prolific, collaborative, and it feels like he’s only just getting started. This episode touches on his first decade of production - surely we’ll revisit for a Part 2!! There was so much I discovered for the first time during this deep dive. I hope listeners experience a combination of familiar faves and new nuggets of enjoyment.
