Picture yourself in a heavily wooded forest…. Laying in a hammock… engulfed in the wonders of pine trees and pineal glands. See the glowing sunbeams cutting through the trees - hazy from the pollen in the air…. When the wind blows gently, you hear the aspens tremble in surround sound, causing a swirling chorus of white noise to compliment the distant singing of birds…. NOW…. Dump a truckload of reverb on the sounds and twist all the visuals through a swirl of kaleidoscope and that will describe the sounds you can expect to hear on the newest release from Edmonton artist, Blume - the album is called Echoes at Night. What is technically a one man band, sounds anything but that as the Guitar Driven, Reverb & Delay Drenched sounds of The Dreamy Shoegaze Master takes us on another journey through a project that’s atmospheric and ambient, but very warm and comforting. On this episode, we explore some of the layers that Arthur adds to his guitars and synths to provide the depth and hazy backdrop to another solid release from this prolific Albertan!
