Fermented Beet Orchestra is a Calgary based band, with an out of this world sound!! Their self proclaimed “Genre Fluidity” shows their progressive nature in the studio, and on the stage. They don’t take themselves too seriously, but the material is seriously high caliber - on a technical and production level, as well as artistically. I sat down with 4 of the 6 members to discuss the songwriting process, the production approach, and all sorts of other silly subjects! They were a bundle of laughs and we really had a great time. There is a 3 song EP coming out very soon! One single “Sunday Stroll” is already available on the Streaming Platforms. There are 2 other songs as well, and we break down each of the 3 songs. They are very proud of the end results, and with good reason - all 3 tracks incorporate a variety of sounds and styles. Definitely worth checking out! The songs were produced at Audiohouse Recording Studio by Josh, who is also the drummer! He’s clearly a perfectionist, and the tracks took a long time to be completed.
