Motte and Bailey – Episode January 17, 2024

On the Motte: Smooth abstract rap leads into a chaotic mess of electronica, from breakcore to J-Core to IDM. Transitioning into some new releases from Calgary noise artists (with some familiar artists), the Motte ends with a wild mixture of post-industrial and avant-garde jazz.

On the Bailey: Starting with some more chaotic jazzy noise rock, a wide variety of noise rock and post-hardcore is played, until it reaches the logical conclusion with emoviolence. From there, the sound quickly changes to black metal, and then some excellent grindcore, screamo and death metal.
