VOYAGER RETURNS is a two-part series of signals, songs, and sounds, borne by radio to distant ears! Referencing Voyager 1 & 2, spacecraft launched by NASA in 1977 to capture photos and data from across the galaxy, as these flying objects enter into interstellar space travelling further than any other human made object, they each carry with them a golden record of "earth sounds" compiled by Carl Sagan. With VOYAGER RETURNS, we're imagining the Voyagers have been intercepted, and an alien communique has been sent back across the galaxy, received by radio direct to CJSW 90.9 fm.
