The 2023 Sled Island Music & Arts Festival kicks off on the evening Tuesday, June 20th at Commonwealth Bar & Stage and will take over some of the best venues in Calgary until capping off on the evening of Sunday, June 25th at the Palomino Smokehouse. For the uninitiated, Sled Island has showcased an incredible array of local and international musicians, comedians, film and more for nearly twenty years at venues across Calgary.

For those who have attended Sled Island in the past know it is one of the best times of the year to explore new music, enjoy some of the best venues in town and generally have a great time soaking in a lot of what makes Calgary so special.

Your friends at CJSW will be hosting more than 15 of this year’s Sled Island performers for live sessions on 90.9FM and cjsw.com. This annual station tradition is one of the best ways to get acquainted with who is playing at this year’s Sled Island, so keep it locked to CJSW throughout Sled Island 2023 to get in the-know before you hit the clubs!
