Hello Everyone,
Last weekend, we hosts the 21st annual Slurpee Cup at The Big Big Tent, where local organizations, businesses and community groups competed for street hockey’s greatest prize. The winning team, Team Noirfoot defeated Team Fiasco to win this year’s tournament. The proceeds from our tournament when to Awo Taan Healing Lodge Society, who received over $2000 as per the request of Team Noirfoot.
This month has a ton of great events that you can hear about first by tuning into CJSW 90.9 FM or cjsw.com. Keep it locked to CJSW to hear about events like Beakerhead, The Calgary International Film Festival, Circle Carnival and much more.
Also, CJSW returns to program all-ages concerts at the McHugh House on the second and fourth Friday of the month.
