NUTV

For over 40 years, NUTV has given University of Calgary students a place to make media, try new ideas, and find their creative voice. In this episode, we hear from NUTV executive director Cameron Macgowan, filmmaker Michael Dowse, and student volunteer Gracie Heeg about what this space has meant across generations. From hands-on learning and collaboration to archiving student life and adapting to new media platforms, NUTV has remained a key part of campus culture. Their stories show how a student-run media space can spark creativity, build community, and shape Calgary’s wider film and media scene!
