From mural painting to jersey designing, artist Sarah Slaughter has done it all. Chosen to design this year’s Calgary Folk Festival cover art, we sat down with Sarah to chat about the experience. Going all the way back to when she would doodle at the dinner table, Sarah talks about the realities of being an artist in this climate, as well as how she maintains her creativity and finds inspiration in the world around her.
