For the June episode, our first guest is Adetola Adedipe, a poet based in Calgary. With Nigerian roots and raised in South Africa, she joined the University of Calgary Spoken Word Club in 2019, and is a Calgary Slam Champion. She was a featured artist at Raw Voices, Radical and Radiant “The Talks” During Black History Month and the “I Am Sudan” Charity Dinner, with many more appearances.
