Normally, if the temperature is above zero and the sun is shining, Versions Patio Party would be kicking off with events at Broken City every Tuesday afternoon. Things look a little different in 2021, but the spirit and community of the event is alive and growing thanks to the streaming platform Twitch and the dedicated work of Isis Graham and a team of volunteers. Today I Check in with Isis Graham about the 8th season of Versions, which kicks off this week and she tells me about the challenges and pleasant surprises of bringing patio party to the internet.
