Campus Mailout

Are you a Calgary (and area) band or musician wanting to get your music heard across the country? Let’s get it out there!

Digital Mailout

CJSW provides a monthly digital mailer service (free of charge), where we send your release to the other ~55 campus / community stations across the country. When you submit your EP / album to CJSW, you have the option to include your release in this digital mailer.

Once the digital mailer has been sent, participating artists will receive contact information to follow up with the other stations.

Physical Mailout

CJSW continues to offer a bi-monthly Physical Mailout service, as there are still some stations that accept physical media for their libraries. 

The due dates for submitting material (cassettes, LP’s, 45’s, CD’s) are the last weekday of every 2nd month: January, March, May, July, September, November.

We only send your album to stations who aren’t able to process digital albums, or who still accept both formats. The fee for the physical mailout covers postage costs, sticker printing, mailers, etc. 

After we mail out your release, we will provide you with a list of the stations it was mailed to so that you can follow up.

UPCOMING PHYSICAL MAILOUT: JULY 30TH!

Physical Mailout Packages

  • $30 cash
  • 15 unwrapped copies of your record (to be sent to 15 stations across Canada as well as a copy for the CJSW local music library)
  • Digital files of the album for the digital mailout (Bandcamp code, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.)
  • 60 word bio for a promoter style sticker that we will add to the front cover at no extra cost (please send in the body of an email)
  • Name 3 similar sounding bands for the sticker
  • List all potty-mouth tracks on the record
  • Clearly state the artist, album title and record label
  • Indicate the artist’s website as well as an email contact
  • Optional: 15 items of anything else you might want to send out to all the radio stations (pins, posters, one-sheet, etc.)

  • 26 unwrapped copies of your record (to be sent to 25 stations across Canada as well as a copy for the CJSW local music library)
  • Digital files of the album for the digital mailout (Bandcamp code, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.)
